Dear Families,

Year 3 swimming

Year 3 have had a brilliant half term of swimming lessons.  Yesterday, all of the children were in the big pool and every child took part in swimming lengths.  They are doing so well.

After half term, we have 7 weeks of swimming lessons starting on the first Thursday back (4th June).

Year 6 art

I had the pleasure of seeing the Year 6 art work this week.  They have been fashion designers and have designed some incredible ideas.  Mrs McConvey, Ms Master and myself were amazed at how well they have worked on this topic.

Parents - you’ll get to see these soon.

Jewellery

Just a reminder that apart from small stud ear rings and a watch, no other jewellery is allowed.  We will ask your child to take it off and keep it safe for them until hometime.

Healthy Food

Healthy eating is a key part of keeping our children energised and ready to learn! We know how important good nutrition is, and we want to gently remind families to help us promote healthy choices for snacks and packed lunches.

After the half term, we will be focusing on healthy eating in school and talking to the children about bringing in healthy food. We really appreciate your support in helping us reinforce these great habits at home.

Half term has come just in time for the lovely weather.  We hope you have a lovely week and enjoy the sunshine.

We’ll see you all back at school on Tuesday 2nd June.

Thank you as always for your continued support.

Take care and stay safe.

Mrs Wilmer
