Dear Families

It was lovely to see so many Dads and Father figures here on Wednesday.  We had lots of lovely compliments about the food which I have passed onto Sarah (the cook).   We even had extra Dads who turned up.  I’m sorry some of you couldn’t get in for lunch but the amount of food made was for the Dads who were booked in.  We just about had enough food to serve everyone.

Piano concert
On Tuesday afternoon, we had our piano concert.  It was so lovely to see all of our young pianists performing in front of their parents.  Their confidence and focus was amazing.  A huge thank you to Tatyana for her incredible teaching skills.  And a thank you to Mrs Elkin too for helping to organise the afternoon with Tatyana.

National Thank a Teacher Day
On Wednesday, the teachers were treated to an afternoon tea thanks to our wonderful TAs.  It was lovely to read the many compliments that got sent through.  The children had an exciting sports afternoon with the TAs.

KS2 Summer Show
On Wednesday 1st July, we have decided to alter the starting time very slightly to help with the children getting home, fed and having a snack before coming back to school.  We are now asking that children come back to school at 5pm and the show will start at 5:30pm.  We hope this helps.

Small & Tall
Please can we ask that if your child is not going to Small & Tall after school that you let Mrs Mann know in advance. Most nights Mrs Mann is chasing up missing children who have gone home either with parents or friends. It's a really worrying time for the Small & Tall staff whilst they find out what has happened to your child. Thank you. 

To all of our Dads and Father figures, have a lovely Father’s Day.  We hope you get spoiled and don’t have too many jobs to do!
