Dear Families,
It’s that time of year again when children are getting runny noses, coughs and sore throats. If you’re unsure whether to send your child to school, the Government has made this short Youtube clip. You can also visit the NHS site ‘Is my child too ill for school?’
Open morning
Yesterday, we had lots of new families looking around the school. If you know of anyone who would like to look around there is a ‘Book a tour’ button on the website. If they click on this, all of the dates are on there. Further dates will be added closer to Christmas.

Supporting Children with Additional Needs When Something Goes Wrong Online
Children with additional needs may not always recognise when an online situation has become unsafe, or they may find it difficult to explain what has happened.
They may also communicate distress differently, become overwhelmed by questions or worry about losing access to a device or online activity that is particularly important to them.
This short video gives parents practical advice on supporting a child calmly when something has gone wrong online and helping them feel able to share what has happened.

Headlice
It’s that time of year when we start to see Headlice appear. Please can you make sure you check your child’s hair.
We also ask that any child with longer hair ties it back. Here is some information about treating headlice from the NHS.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Thank you as ever for your continued support.
Take care and stay safe.
