Parking on Abbots Way

Please can I remind you to park considerately when using Abbots Way.  I am receiving complaints from neighbours and parents about this.  Some neighbours can’t access their drives.  Parents have complained because some cars are parked over the pavement making it very difficult for prams to pass and families to walk safely.  Can you please pass this message to family and friends if they drop off / pick up from school.

Dougie Mac Coffee & Cake morning

What a super morning we had yesterday.  We raised a whopping £497.62 for the Dougie Mac.  I know that this money will be greatly appreciated by the many families who use this charity to support their loved ones.

Emails home about behaviour

Following feedback from the parent survey, some of you may have noticed an increase in update emails regarding your child’s behaviour. We wanted to reassure you that this is simply our way of keeping communication open and logged clearly between home and school.  It doesn't automatically mean a situation is escalating.  If there is ever a time we feel extra support or a bigger conversation is needed, we will reach out directly to arrange a time to talk with you. 

Harvest Festival

Next Thursday 15 October at 2:15pm we are holding our annual Harvest Festival.  All donations will be going to the Newcastle Food Bank which I know is used by so many families in need.  Thank you in advance for your support with this.

Half term

Just to confirm that half term is Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October.  We are back in school on Monday 2 November.
