Newsletter – December Week 3

Dear Parents / Carers,

Well what a final week we’ve had at school.  Our Carol concert was so joyful.  It certainly made us all feel more ‘Christmassy’.  The children sang beautifully, the musicians showed off their amazing talents and Mrs Elkin did a fabulous job at getting everyone to join in and ‘raise the roof’ with their singing.

A massive thank you to both Mrs Elkin and Mrs Harris for organising such a lovely service.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to the Baked Beans Christmas Tree for Alice Charity.  It looked amazing and will be gratefully received.

Our KS1 Christmas performances were super.  Eva, Louie and Elise sang their hearts out and certainly brought a tear to my eyes!  All of the children were superb and your words of praise were passed onto the staff who have worked so hard to make the performances such a success.

And finally and a huge thank you to everyone for your gifts and cards with such kind words in.  They really mean so much and are appreciated by the staff.

I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful New Year.  I hope you manage to have some treasured time with your family and friends.

I look forward to welcoming you all back on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.

Thank you as ever for your continuing support.

Stay safe and take care.

Mrs Wilmer and the Friarswood Team.
