Year 1 had a very special visitor today. The author and creator of Polly Pin! Melanie Seiver came to tell us all about Polly. She read the children one of Polly's stories, sang songs and then showed the class how a sewing machine works. Year 1 had the chance to ask Melanie a lot of questions about her job and how she became an author and how she pursued the love of her hobby of sewing.
