Parking on Abbots Way

Please can I ask you to be very careful with parking.  There seems to be a growing number of incidents and near misses along with people parking on the double yellow lines.  

The last thing any of us want is for an accident – somebody injured or worse.  We have families who walk with their children and some people are making it unsafe to walk on the pavements.

Please can you pass this message onto relatives / friends if they drive to and from school.

If you do see this thoughtless driving and / or parking on double yellow lines, please take a note of their registration number so that it can be reported to the police or report it using the QR codes on the signs.

We want to keep everyone safe.  Please help us.

Christmas Jumper / Baked Baked Beans day

As we usually collect donations for Alice Charity around this time of year, we realised we’ve already asked you to donate a lot quite recently.  So we thought it would be nice (and fun) if on Monday 12th December the children come into school in Christmas jumpers ….. and bring in a tin of baked beans.  We hoped that most of our families would have a spare tin of beans in their cupboard.  

We’re going to build a Christmas tree out of baked beans tins, then we’re going to donate the Christmas tree to Alice Charity.  

We really do hope that you are able to join in.  Thank you so much in advance for your support.  I can’t wait to see it!

Swimming

Year 5 had their last swimming session on Tuesday.  Year 3 will have their last swimming session on Wednesday 30th November.

The next swimming sessions start Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th January.
