Newsletter – April Week 4
Dear Parents / Carers,
I hope you all had a lovely break over Easter. The weather wasn’t too bad and the children sound like they’ve had lots of fun.
Sports Days
We arranged the following dates for our annual sports days.
Monday 20th June at 1:30pm – KS2 (Years 3 – 6)
Tuesday 21st June at 9:15 – Early years (Reception & Nursery)
Tuesday 21st June at 1:30pm – KS1 (years 1 & 2)
We do hope you can make it. Please can we ask that you bring along your own chairs or picnic blankets to sit on. Fingers crossed for some lovely weather.
Year 6
It’s that time of year again when we think about our Year 6 children and that their time at Friarswood is coming to an end. We have arranged the Leavers’ Assembly for Monday 11th July at 2pm. We hope parents are able to make this.
Parking Buddies
You may have seen the new parking signs at the top of the drive. These are from Staffordshire Police. They will hopefully help with our issue of dangerous parking and illegal parking on the yellow lines near school. Something we all want to improve to help to keep our families safe.
They have a QR code on them. If you scan the QR code, you can then load a photo of the vehicle (please make sure the registration number is clear). This system is checked by the police who will issue penalty notices.
